Our mission is to improve mental health care by advancing an agenda for evidence-based uses of CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) through research, education, direct service, and training.

PHH provides various in-person or virtual workshops and trainings throughout the year on trauma-informed holistic and alternative therapies. Including trauma-informed Yoga and Meditation teacher trainings for clinical settings. We also provide information on ACEs and how it impacts long-term mental health and wellness.

In partnership with Eternal Renewal Counseling and The PHH Company, we have started a Research and Development project to explore the impact of holistic and alternative therapies when integrated into  cogitative behavioral therapy (CBT).

We have been providing FREE trauma-informed support programs to underserved or stigmatized populations in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area since 2019. Community Support Programs are trauma informed and facilitated by members of PHH staff that have been trained in trauma sensitive practices and policies. PHH Support Programs are FREE and open to all who may benefit.

In 2021 we opened PHH at the Heart - our first private practice located in downtown in Phoenixville, PA. We are available for in-person (or virtual) mental health counseling and holistic therapies. We take a unique approach to therapy.

Quality mental health and wellness options should not be a privilege rather the standard. We provide direct services and we also have an amazing network of holistic and CAM Practitioners that we have as a recourses to anyone that is interested in learning or trying holistic therapies. Finding the right Practitioner and healing modality is custom to each individual. So it's important to comfortable, empowered, and ready to work with your care team. We are happy to provide referrals and other resources in holistic and CAM should your journey require a different experience.
